The Northern Joe Cup is an event held in the memory of Joe Rawcliffe who passed away in 2020. Joe’s brother Isaac is a keen squash player, and the aim of this event is to raise awareness and money for the Brain Tumour Charity as well as promoting the sport.

Now in it’s 3rd year the Northern Joe Cup is a festival of squash that has something for everyone, and provides a fantastic opportunity to get involved in our great sport in Manchester and the North West.

This year’s event will feature a Men’s and Women’s Professional Squash Association (PSA) 9k Challenger Tour event which will attract a number of the world’s top 100 players. Alongside it we will also have exhibition matches, coaching clinics, individual events, team events, and schools taster sessions. It is an action packed week of sport and one to not miss out on.

All the professional squash is free to watch and will be available on live stream throughout the event.

  • A great fun a event for players of any level. Teams of three in groups gives everyone 1 match on the Friday and at least two on the Saturday. Includes the buffet on the Saturday evening and chance to watch the professionals live.

Saturday 25th November

Sunday 26th November

• THE CLUB Series event @ Cheetham Hill Squash Club and Fairways Lodge and Leisure Club. 
  • A graded event (as part of The Club Series) open to all ages and abilities. This is a great way for everybody to get a competitive squash experience in a 3 hour window. Quick Fire – Great Fun!
