Josh Taylor (Director)
Josh founded THE CLUB in May 2022 having previously spent 5 years working full time leading the National Junior Programme for England Squash. Josh is hugely passionate about coaching and helping others, his track record speaks for itself and has cemented him as one of the countries top coaches. Josh is avaliable across all our venues for sessions
Tesni Evans (Director)
Tesni joined the team in December 2023, coming on board as we formalised the organisation as a Community Interest Company. Tesni is a PSA World Tour Player, with a highest ranking of 9 in the world, a 2 time British National Champion she comes with lots of experience to lend to the team.
Hannah Hodgson (Director)
Hannah joined the team in May 2023 as a Director. She brings with her a wealth of expeirence in community funding across the not for profit sector and a great skillset in sports development. She prides herself in growing participation and breaking down barriers that may exist. A driven individual she helps shape the off court aspects that support the development of THE CLUB Squash CIC.
Dan Blan (Head of Competitions and Lead Coach Fairways Lodge)
Dan joined the team in June 2022 having finished his degree at the University of Manchester. Dan is a very passionate squash enthusiast and prides himself on growing the game. Dan heads up our competition programme across all of the venues. Dan is available at Fairways Lodge and Leisure Club for sessions.
Henry Beach (Head Coach, North Area)
Henry joined the team in September 2022. Henry is a bubbly person and brings with him a wealth of experience having been a top junior player. A band member of local band The Larkins, Henry is a extremely rounded person. Henry is responsible for overseeing the programme in the North area. He is also oversees as lead coach for Cheetham Hill. Henry is available for sessions across the programme.
Amy Royle (Lead Coach, Monton Squash Club and Hyde Cricket Club)
Amy joined the team in Nov 2022. Amy is part of our pro squads, with a career high of 233. Amy loves working with players of all levels. Amy is avaliable at Monton and Hyde Squash Clubs.
Lewis Doughty (Coach, Fairways Lodge)
Lewis joined the team in Jan 2023. Lewis is a PSA World Tour Player and part of our pro squads, with a career high of 169. Lewis loves working with players of all levels. Lewis is avaliable at Fairways Lodge and Leisure Club.
Jamie Foyster (Coach, Cheetham Hill Squash Club)
Jamie joined the team in May 2022 having had a lot of success leading the Cheetham Hill Squash Club Programme. Jamie loves getting the most out of people and has great energy with all he works with. Jamie is available at Cheetham Hill Squash Club for sessions.
David Scurlock (Coach, Cheetham Hill Squash Club)
Dave is one of the seasoned members of the team. Joining the team in May 2022 he brings with him a wealth of experience. A international masters player, Dave has been there and done everything in the sport. Dave is available for sessions at Cheetham Hill Squash Club.
Matt Major (Coach, Cheetham Hill Squash Club)
Matt, aka Manchester Champ, joined the team in June 2022 having previously been coached by Josh at the Manchester Squash Academy. Matt is passionate about the sport and loves working with players of all levels. Matt delivers groups sessions at Cheetham Hill Squash Club.
Hannah Lewis (Coach, Marple Squash Club and Cheetham Hill Squash Club)
Hannah joined the team in December 2023 following moving back to Manchester from university. A passionate squash enthuiast, team player and also horse riding coach she brings with her alot of experience to benefit all she works with. Hannah is avaliable across the programme for sessions.
